We provide digital memberships and online courses. Our content is educational only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

What data we collect
Information you give us
- Account data (name, email, password).
- Profile details you choose to add (country, interests).
- Purchases and billing info (product purchased; payments are handled by PayPal/Stripe – we do not store full card numbers).
- Communications (support requests, emails, forms, optional surveys).
- Content you submit (comments, reviews, Q&A).
Information we collect automatically
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser, language, time zone, pages viewed, timestamps, referral URL.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookie Policy). Our platform may set strictly necessary session cookies (e.g.,
lp_session_guest, Duration: Session) to keep the site working.
Information from third parties
- Payment processors (PayPal, Stripe): payment confirmation and fraud-screening signals.
- Analytics/ads platforms (only after consent) via our cookie banner and Google Consent Mode.
We do not intentionally collect special category data. Our services are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

WordPress specifics
Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent to help spam detection. An anonymised string from your email (hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you use it (Automattic Privacy). After approval, your profile picture is visible with your comment.
Media
If you upload images, avoid uploading images with embedded EXIF GPS location data. Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site.
Embedded content
Articles may include embedded content (e.g., videos). Embedded content from other websites behaves the same as if you visited the other website and may collect data per their own policies.
Payments (PayPal & Stripe) and PCI
Payments are processed by PayPal and Stripe. We receive limited payment information (transaction ID/status) and do not store full card numbers. Providers may store a payment token to enable instalments/renewals (if used). Card processing follows PCI DSS standards by the provider.
Sharing your data
We share personal data only with:
- Processors under contract: hosting, security, email delivery, customer support tools, analytics/measurement (after consent), and payment processors (PayPal, Stripe).
- Professional advisors/authorities where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We require processors to protect your data and process it only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
If we transfer personal data outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses and, where needed, the UK Addendum/IDTA) unless the destination has an adequacy decision. We will update our approach if adequacy changes.
How long we keep data
- Account data: while active, then deleted/anonymised after 24 months of inactivity.
- Purchases/invoices: 6 years (UK tax).
- Support tickets: 24 months.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
- Logs/security data: typically 12 months (longer if needed for security/legal reasons).
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures (TLS encryption in transit; access controls; least-privilege; backups; monitoring). No method is 100% secure; we work to protect your data and respond to incidents.

Email info@luxoacademy.com or support@luxoacademy.com from the address linked to your account. We may request proof of identity. We aim to respond within one month (extendable in complex cases as permitted by law). Requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive may be limited or refused as allowed by law.
No automated decisions
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Our services are intended for adults (18+).
